From "Oto Ge" to "Osu Wa"; Kwara Political Tales

The political atmosphere in Kwara State is currently experiencing a significant shift in sentiment. After the "Oto ge" ("It's Enough") revolution, which led to the ousting of the long-ruling PDP administration in 2019, the people of Kwara had high hopes for the new government. However, the current administration, dubbed "Oto Ge" ("It's Enough "), has failed to deliver on its promises, leaving the citizens disillusioned and frustrated.
The "Oto ge" movement was a testament to the people's desire for change after 16 years of perceived stagnation under PDP rule. The new government, led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, promised to bring about a new era of development and progress. However, Five years into his tenure, the administration has struggled to make a meaningful impact.

Infrastructure development, job creation, and economic growth have been slow, and the government's response to the people's needs has been inadequate. The once-enthusiastic supporters of the "Oto Ge" government are now chanting the new slogan "Osu Wa" ( We are Tired) but this time in frustration and disappointment.

The political climate in Kwara is tense, with many calling for accountability and better governance. Civil society organizations, opposition groups, and even some members of the ruling party are speaking out against the government's underwhelming performance. The people of Kwara are demanding more from their leaders, and the "Oto Ge" government must act swiftly to address the growing discontent and restore the trust of its citizens.
