There's a growing concern about individuals falsely claiming to be 'Alfa' (Islamic scholars) without any legitimate connection to the faith. They use this title as a cover-up for their illicit activities, displaying excessive wealth, flaunting expensive gadgets, luxury cars, and flashy attire. A disturbing trend is that the majority of these individuals are youth. They are often caught engaging in illicit activities, including performing juju rituals for fraudsters and participating in ritual killings. A recent example is the case of an individual who was arrested for killing a girl and dismembering her body. During interrogation, when asked about his profession and source of income, his response was: 'I'm an Alfa.' As Muslims, we know that having a legitimate source of income is essential.
